Woot says the coupon couldn't be found, so I assume I'm not eligible, since this wouldn't be my first woot order.. Not a bad deal at $28, though

Correction.... 'Cobra' was added by the OP, where not even Craftsman or Woot has "Cobra" in their description. These Chinese knockoffs are not remotely Knipex Cobra quality. At list price, you can actually buy the real thing.
Edit for I was able to capture and de-blur the back of package that says Sears and Roebuck and made in Germany for the Craftsman Professional line. Hopefully, that is what you get, but the lifetime warranty will probably be non-existent unless you want the newer Chinese version. Nevertheless, if made in Germany is what you get, these are worth the $17.69 and a thumbs up.

Interesting because if you look at the model number and compare it to the model number of the "cobra" branded ones you would realize its the exact same model number.

And the link to compare is? I am still under the impression that you added "Cobra" to the title that is a Trademark for Knipex brand only.
Craftsman Professional did/does have some decent tools and it is possible that Knipex or whomever made these, but no place do I see 'Cobra' mentioned in description. I will stand corrected that if you receive this old model that was made in Germany, that would be cool.
What I do see is this Craftsman tool discontinued everywhere, so that would probably make the lifetime warranty about worthless. What happened in the past was that quality Craftsman tools made in the USA and Germany were outsourced to China and that was the new tool you received under warranty.
PS: Besides the Cobra part, in your defense, I was able to enlarge the photos for the back of package and de-blurred, says Sears and Roebuck and made in Germany. The Germany part is great, the Sears part is not for any warranty.
PPS: The Knipex Cobra [menards.com] can be had for $29.98 if you have a Menards close.

https://tools.woot.com/offers/craftsman-10-cobra-pliers-by-knipex [woot.com] Here is the last time woot had them for sale. Specifically says manufactured by Knipex Tools and has the exact same model number as the current listing. I dont have a Menard's near me and they want to charge $7 to ship anything to me plus a $2.80 processing fee. That makes my total $39.74 from Menards where as I paid $18 after tax from Woot with free shipping. I am unsure why you are bothering to argue about this subject with me.

How do you get $18 after tax?

Interesting, I was able to get free shipping... Maybe it has something to do with having Amazon Prime since they are owned by Amazon

Can confirm these are Knipex, have purchased them from Woot a couple times. Not a fantastic deal unless you have a coupon, as they can be had on Amazon for about $30. As mentioned I wouldn't expect to call Craftsman and get replacement Knipex if these break. Then again, I understand Knipex has a loose definition of normal wear and tear, so you may not get replacement pliers from them either. Either way, really nice pliers.

Maybe not a great deal for the typical tool user, but for Craftsman collectors...AWESOME.
these sell for more on ebay than their actual branded knipex twins.

I bought one last time, after one year use, I love it, even though as an electrician, Channel Lock is still my first choice, but this pair is really surprisingly good.

There are NO Chinese versions of these ever made...so 0% chance of getting shipped that. Only made by Knipex for Craftsman in 7" and 10". And anyone buying quality craftsman tools isn't concerned about that warranty anymore. Only the ones who buy China Craftsman deal with warranty claims. Anything USA made or mfd. by box truck/rebadges are coveted and would never dare even think about trading it in for current chinesium.

I can confirm that these are an exact replica in quality design and features as the original kinipex cobra. I have several of both. And haven't been able to see any difference between them. This one is actually made in Germany.
On the side of craftsman warranty, I was able to take an old screwdriver that Broke in to lowes and get it replaced.
